These pads feature a nonwoven hydrophilic layer that is soft as well as durable. Super absorbent polymers (SAP) together with the previous layer, pull moisture away from the skin and into the underpads core. Additionally, the underpad is not made with natural rubber latex. The Simplicity Extra comfort underpads feature two bold layers in their arsenal. The top sheet is air permeable in order to increase air flow and patient comfort. The back sheet is breathable and its super absorbent core quickly wicks fluid as well as odors away from the patient’s skin. The backing, on the other hand, protects the patient’s bedding.
